Asylum seekers in Melbourne
More than 350 people are receiving free primary care and/or specialist mental health care at the Cabrini Asylum Seeker and Refugee Health Hub. The vast majority have either no access to Medicare or Medicare but no income. Our psychiatrists, general practitioners and physiotherapist give their time for free. Your donation will help meet the other costs associated with their care.
Families in Ethiopia
Climate change is having a devastating effect on people in developing countries who rely on subsistence farming to live. Following the recent rain, 90 families supported on the Nutrition Program through the drought have been able to establish their crops and become self-sufficient again. 130 families require ongoing support as they are unable to support themselves due to an illness, disability or not having enough arable land. Help us help our sister organisation to provide them with relief.
Patients in Papua New Guinea
Our programs in Papua New Guinea support the community in Madang province where we support acute care services in the Madang Provincial Hospital and primary care services in Malala district. Your donations go to providing essential diagnostics, surgery and primary health care services as we seek to improve maternal and child health outcomes for Australia’s closest neighbour.
Children of Swaziland
Over 100,000 children in eSwatini (formerly Swaziland) are orphaned or made vulnerable due to the direct and indirect effect of the HIV virus on their families and household. eSwatini is one of the poorest countries in the world with over 40% of its population living in chronic poverty and its children growing up without parental protection. Help us to support Cabrini Ministries Swaziland Family Services support and reunite children with their families in the Community.
